International Chair:
We have a DUPA council chair opening. If you’re interested, apply for the International Chair. International postdocs make up half of all postdocs at Duke, and this chair position represents international postdocs within DUPA, advocates for our interests and most importantly organizes fun activities. We have organized international potluck, game nights, happy hours, sports events, hiking trips among many other fun activities. We also run the Duke Buddy program and the postdoc to postdoc (P2P) program at Duke. Apart from this, we help to address issues concerning international postdocs such as taxes, visa and immigration status. Since currently international postdocs are under-represented in DUPA council, we encourage international postdocs to apply.
