P2P Program

The Duke University Postdoctoral Association (DUPA) has an ongoing “Postdoc-to-Postdoc (P2P) Program” to help incoming  postdocs adjust to life at Duke by matching them with existing postdocs. Read more about it below.

New Postdoc:  You’ve got the job, now what? Want help with getting settled, how to get around or where to get the best food in town? Whether you are coming from out of town or out of the country, we have postdocs here to help you make your transition. Sign up here  and you will be matched to a current Duke postdoc who can relate to your situation.

Current Duke Postdoc: Remember the challenges you faced relocating for your postdoc? Help new postdocs get settled, explore the area and share your local knowledge. Volunteer to assist a new postdoc in the DUPA P2P program. You will be matched based on background and the rest is up to you. Sign up here. To be a mentor you do not have to be an international postdoc, but we will appreciate knowing if you have lived abroad to better match you to incoming postdocs.
