Are you interested in engaging 8th graders and getting them excited about being the first in their families to go to college? This opportunity is for you! Sign up as a “staff” volunteer for Duke-Durham School Days https://community.duke.edu/program/school-days/, which will be occurring virtually this year on November 5th. You can either sign up to be their host for the day and walk them through a multimedia virtual tour of campus, or sign up to be a stop on the tour! The video can be 2-5 minutes long, and it would be a quick, engaging introduction to the work you do. If you would like to make a video stop for the tour please let Claudia know as soon as possible.
